Jeep Grand Cherokee 95-98 5.9L/5.2L/4.0L

S9KR1256

Overview:

The EBC S9 Brake Pad and Rotor Kit offers a complete rear braking solution designed for drivers seeking enhanced stopping power and reduced noise. This kit combines EBCs high-performance Yellowstuff brake pads with USR series sport slotted rotors, delivering superior friction and improved brake feel for spirited street driving and daily use.

Ideal for enthusiasts who want a reliable upgrade over standard brake components, the S9 kit provides excellent bite and fade resistance while minimizing the typical wind noise associated with slotted rotors. With everything you need in one package, its a convenient and cost-effective way to improve your vehicles braking performance.

Key Features:

This kit integrates advanced materials and design features to optimize braking efficiency and durability:

• Includes EBCs flagship Yellowstuff GG-rated high-friction brake pads for maximum stopping power and consistent performance under demanding conditions.
• Pads are fully shimmed, chamfered, and slotted to reduce noise, vibration, and harshness while enhancing pad bite and wear characteristics.
• Finished with EBCs patented Brake-In coating to accelerate pad seating and reduce initial break-in time.
• USR series rotors feature fine sport slots that improve pad cleaning and heat dissipation while significantly reducing wind noise compared to the S5 kit.
• Rotors are solid design with five bolt holes, measuring 284mm in diameter, 10mm thick, and 60mm in height, ensuring precise fitment and reliable performance.
• Includes caliper lube to ensure smooth caliper operation and prevent noise or sticking.

Construction & Design:

The rotors in this kit are engineered with a solid, precision-machined design that balances strength and heat management. The fine slotted pattern on the USR rotors enhances brake pad contact and helps evacuate gases and debris, improving braking consistency and reducing fade.

The Yellowstuff pads utilize a high-friction compound optimized for street and occasional track use, providing strong initial bite and excellent modulation. Their chamfered and slotted design minimizes noise and vibration, while the full shims help prevent squeal and ensure smooth engagement.

Installation & Fitment:

This kit is designed for direct rear axle replacement, matching the OEM specifications for bolt pattern and rotor dimensions. Installation uses existing mounting points and hardware, making it a straightforward upgrade with no modifications required.

• Fits rear brakes with FMSI pad number D666
• Solid rotors with 5 bolt holes, 284mm diameter
• No cutting, drilling, or special tuning required

What's Included:

• Set of EBC Yellowstuff high-friction brake pads (rear)
