This is the genuine FL5 Type R rear motor mount, sold here as a retrofit upgrade for non-Type R Civic and Integra models it does not apply to the FL5 itself, which already comes with this mount from the factory.

We've tested this genuine FL5 Type R rear motor mount on our own 2022+ Civic and 2023+ Integra, and it delivers a real reduction in wheel hop during launch along with tightening up the slop you feel between shifts, especially 1st to 2nd. It's a solid OEM+ upgrade with no drawback in added cabin noise or vibration a genuine improvement with none of the trade-offs.

We've also paired it with a Whiteline Rear Motor Mount Insert for an OEM++ feel solid shifts and launches that keep the wheels planted get even better. That combination does add more noticeable NVH with the AC on at idle or sitting in 1st/Reverse, though it's barely noticeable while actually driving, and still calmer overall than a dedicated aftermarket rear motor mount.
